Readitrek is developed and operated by INNOVATIVE TEACHING AND LEARNING TOOLS CO.,LTD. (“ITALT”, “we”, “us”). This policy applies to Readitrek on iOS, Android, the web, and related support interactions.

Readitrek is an education service for accounts provisioned by schools or organizations. Some users receive an account from a teacher or organization administrator.

We collect only information needed to provide reading and learning services, manage accounts, protect the service, and provide support. Information may come from you, your school or organization, your use of the app, or an issue report you submit.

This includes email address, display name, user ID, role, school or organization, and membership or class information needed for access. It comes from you or from the school or organization that provisions the account.

This includes stories and pages read, progress, assignments, favorites, quiz scores and attempts, reward points, and activity logs such as sign-in, screen views, reading, and quiz activity. It is generated by your use of the app.

Device and Diagnostic Information

For security, auditing, and troubleshooting, we collect device model, operating-system version, app version and build, an app-scoped device identifier (identifier for vendor), session ID, and the type and time of in-app activity. This information is generated automatically while you use the app and is linked to your account when you sign in.

When you submit an issue report, we collect its title, description, name or email for contact, a screenshot you choose to attach, and recent app event logs to help diagnose the issue. Those logs may contain your user ID, organization, events, time, and the device information described above.

The app stores language and reader preferences and a rolling cache of recent activity logs on your device so the app can function and can attach logs when you submit an issue report. Local data is removed when you uninstall the app, unless your operating system restores it from a backup under your settings.

We do not sell or rent personal information, use it for targeted advertising, or track you across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising. This release has no AI Coach and does not send information to an AI provider.

We require service providers that process information for us to protect it with safeguards no less protective than those described in this policy and required by applicable law. Firebase may process information in countries other than your own through Google’s infrastructure, and we use appropriate legal safeguards where cross-border transfers occur.

We use technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information, including encrypted transmission, authentication, role-based access controls, Firebase access rules, and protection against unauthorized backend requests. No transmission or storage method is completely secure.

You can initiate account deletion in the app: open the account or settings area and choose Request Account Deletion. The app explains the consequences and asks you to confirm before submitting the request. You can also start outside the app at the Readitrek account-deletion request page. Appropriate identity verification may be needed to prevent unauthorized deletion.

For school-managed accounts, we may verify identity and authority with the school administrator before proceeding. Once verified, ITALT deletes Firebase Authentication, the profile and memberships, progress and quiz results, user-linked assignments or activity information, and personally identifiable issue reports and Storage attachments. We may retain a de-identified deletion-completion record only where needed for auditing.

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, a copy, objection to or restriction of processing, withdrawal of consent, or deletion. Student users should begin with a teacher or school administrator, and parents or lawful representatives may also contact us.

Attaching a screenshot is optional. You do not need to grant photo access to use the app’s core features, and you can change device permissions in your device settings. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already performed, and some core services require account and learning information to function.

Readitrek may be used by learners under 13 through a school or organization. We collect children’s information only as needed to provide the education service and expect schools or organizations to have the necessary authority and consent before provisioning a child’s account. Parents or lawful representatives may contact the school or ITALT with questions or to exercise rights regarding a child’s information.
